This policy explains how bookings made on https://iconcreativeevents.com/mastermind-2027 may be cancelled or amended, and how refunds are processed. It forms an integral part of the Distance Sales Agreement.
1. Right of withdrawal does not apply
Accommodation services supplied on a specific date or during a specific period are excluded from the fourteen-day right of withdrawal by Article 15(1)(g) of the Regulation on Distance Contracts. The terms below apply instead, and they are more generous than the law requires.
2. Cancellation by the guest
Unless your confirmation e-mail states different terms for a special rate, the following applies to accommodation bookings, counted from the arrival date:

Non-refundable and promotional rates are marked as such before payment and in the confirmation e-mail; those bookings cannot be refunded once confirmed, but the name on the booking may still be changed under section 4.
3. Event tickets
Where a booking includes participation in an event, the event portion follows the same scale as above, calculated from the first day of the event. If the event is cancelled or postponed by the organiser, the full amount paid for the event portion is refunded, or may be transferred to the new date at the guest's choice.
4. Amendments and name changes
Dates, room type and guest names may be amended free of charge up to 15 days before arrival, subject to availability. If the amended booking costs more than the original, the difference is payable; if it costs less, the difference is refunded under section 5. Amendments requested within 15 days of arrival are treated as a cancellation followed by a new booking.
5. How refunds are made
- Refunds are always made to the card used for the original payment. Refunds to a different card, to a bank account or in cash are not possible.
- We initiate the refund within fourteen days of approving the request. Once initiated, the time for the amount to appear on your statement is determined by your bank and is typically between two and twenty working days.
- Refunds are calculated in Euro on the amount originally charged. If your card is in another currency, the amount you receive may differ from the amount you paid because of exchange-rate movement; that difference belongs to your bank and is outside our control.
- Bank or payment institution charges deducted at the time of the original payment are not refunded where the payment institution does not return them.
6. Cancellation by us
If we have to cancel a confirmed booking — because the property becomes unavailable, or for any other reason attributable to us — we will tell you within three days, offer an equivalent alternative where one exists, and refund the full amount paid within fourteen days if you do not accept the alternative. No cancellation charge is applied in that case.
7. Force majeure
Where a natural disaster, epidemic, official travel restriction or comparable event beyond either party's control prevents the stay from taking place, the booking may be postponed without charge, or the amount paid refunded in full, at the guest's choice.
8. How to request a cancellation or refund
Send your booking reference and the name on the booking to info@iconcreativeevents.com or by telephone on +90 543 763 45 47. Requests are acknowledged within three working days and answered within fifteen days at the latest. The date we receive your request is the date used for the scale in section 2.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may apply to the Consumer Arbitration Committee or the Consumer Court at the place of your residence or where the transaction took place, within the monetary limits announced each year by the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye.
